Nederburg’s refresh: Adventure, Connection, and New Beginning
In 2023, Heineken Beverages welcomed Nederburg, a cherished winery with roots dating back to 1791, and is now giving this beloved Paarl brand a fresh look.

To bring this idea to life, the brand has introduced a special red cloth for retail, on-consumption, and digital activations. “It’s a springboard for consumers to each tell their own table story in their own way. See it as a starting point for wine lovers to put their real, digital or imagined table, with their people, in the destination they love, with Nederburg taking pride of place”.

The brand is teaming up with travel influencers to inspire wine lovers to add colour, energy, and adventure to their journeys.
The signature red cloth is filled with icons that celebrate Nederburg’s 200-year story and connect with everyone. Hot air balloons and aeroplanes reflect its adventurous spirit, while anchors signify its roots and commitment to quality. Crowns highlight its award-winning legacy, and the sun and bees add warmth, life, and a reminder of sustainability.
Look out for the new labels, still distinctly Nederburg but now with a friendlier feel and that signature vibrant red.
