The Grammy-winning dancehall star will make one of only three South African tour stops in Pretoria
South Africans already know how to turn up the temperature December, but Sean Paul is about to make things considerably hotter.
Sean Paul in South Africa
The Grammy-winning dancehall superstar will bring his global sound to Sunbet Arena at Time Square in Pretoria on Friday, 4 December 2026, as part of his South African tour. The Pretoria show marks one of only three stops on the tour, alongside Cape Town and Durban, giving fans across the country the chance to experience one of dancehall’s most recognisable voices live.

And if the word Temperature is already playing in your head, you’re not alone.
More than two decades after Get Busy and Temperature became international dancefloor anthems, Sean Paul continues to move between generations and genres with the kind of staying power few artists achieve. His distinctive delivery and Jamaican dancehall roots have helped shape some of the biggest party anthems of the past two decades, while his collaborations have repeatedly introduced his sound to new audiences.
Now, he is bringing that energy to Pretoria just as South Africa enters its summer holiday season.
SunBet Arena
For Sunbet Arena, the performance adds another major international name to a growing roster of artists who have taken the stage at the venue. Bryan O’Connor, Time Square General Manager, says Sean Paul’s Pretoria performance could become one of the summer’s standout entertainment moments.

“We’re proud that Sunbet Arena continues to attract some of the world’s biggest artists, and Sean Paul’s Pretoria performance is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the summer. His music has connected with fans across generations, and we’re excited to welcome audiences for what promises to be an unforgettable night.”
Sean Paul’s connection with South African audiences runs deep. His music has become part of the soundtrack to parties, festivals and summer nights across the country, making his December arrival feel less like another concert and more like a reunion with songs many fans have known for years.
The Pretoria show will also form part of a three-city South African run presented by Blu Blood and Fire Water Earth Productions, with 947, KFM and East Coast Radio serving as official broadcast partners.

Tickets are already on sale, starting at R750, with Golden Circle tickets reaching R1,750.
So, while December brings the South African sunshine, Sean Paul is bringing his own forecast.
