Wine lovers definitely have another reason to raise a glass as Wine Forty Four returns to 44 Stanley on Saturday, 19 September 2026 this weekend, bringing together 20 wineries for a day dedicated to discovering some of South Africa’s most exciting wines.

Wine forty-four event
Curated by Vinosity, the popular tasting event celebrates both emerging small-batch producers and historic wine estates that have helped shape the country’s wine industry over generations. Guests can expect a carefully selected mix of familiar favourites and exciting new discoveries.
Among the standout wines on offer will be Sani’s Chenin Blanc, one of only two wines produced in Lesotho, Pounding Grape’s Fairies in the Garden, a cult-favourite orange wine, Normandie’s Eisen & Viljoen, an eight-year-aged Bordeaux blend, and Bruwer Vintners’ Lone Wolf Cinsault, crafted from vines planted in Stellenbosch in 1953.

The event will feature wines from 20 producers, including Black Elephant Vintners, Brookdale, Catherine Marshall Wines, Hazendal Wine Estate, Joostenberg Wine Estate, LOST BOY Wines, Tembela Wines, Tesselersdaal Wines and many more.
Beyond the tastings, visitors can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with music curated by Play the Crates, featuring DJ Bubbles and live acoustic performances throughout the centre. A variety of restaurants and coffee shops at 44 Stanley will also be serving food throughout the day.
