Six stages, over 120 artists and thousands of music lovers. Spring Fiesta is back, and bathong, this one is looking massive. When South Africans say summer is loading, what they really mean is Spring Fiesta is around the corner. Returning to Wild Waters in Boksburg on 3 October, the iconic festival celebrates its 16th year with a lineup packed with some of the biggest names in music. If your group chat hasn’t started discussing outfits, transport and who is carrying the cooler box, are you even ready?
Spring Fiesta Line Up
For one day only, Wild Waters transforms into a playground for music lovers, with more than 120 artists and DJs taking over six stages dedicated to House, Hip Hop, Amapiano, Deep House and AfroTech. And honestly? The lineup is enough to make any music fan sweat before summer even arrives. Leading the charge on the Spring Fiesta Main Stage are crowd favourites including Scorpion Kings, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Kelvin Momo, Sun-El Musician, DJ Zinhle, Msaki, Mi Casa, MÖRDA and K.O.
If your heart belongs to old-school house music, the Soul Candi Classics Stage is bringing the nostalgia with names such as Fish Go Deep, DJ Fresh, Ralf Gum and Judy Jay.
Deep house lovers can make themselves comfortable at the Stay True Sounds Stage, where artists including Atjazz, Kid Fonque, Julian Gomes and Dwson are set to provide the soundtrack. Meanwhile, the Hip Hop Stage, hosted by Speedsta, is bringing serious firepower with Blxckie, Loatinover Pounds, Frank Casino and DJ Sliqe.
Of course, no Mzansi festival would be complete without Amapiano shaking the ground beneath your feet. The Piano Dreamland Stage features favourites such as Sam Deep, Ch’cco, Shaun 101, Shakes and Les and Sfarzo Rtee, while the Bakone AfroTech Stage delivers a global flavour through artists including Da Capo, Caiiro, Enoo Napa, Culoe De Song and French selector Manoo.
But ask anyone who has attended Spring Fiesta before, and they’ll tell you the magic isn’t only on the stages. It’s in the random dance circles that appear out of nowhere. It’s in meeting someone while waiting for food and ending up spending half the day together. It’s hearing your favourite song drop and watching thousands of strangers lose their minds at exactly the same moment.
The People, The Music
That’s the thing about Spring Fiesta. It feels less like a festival and more like one giant Mzansi family reunion where everyone arrived for the music. “Spring Fiesta is about the music, the energy and, most importantly, the people who have been rolling with us from day one,” says Head of Talent Zane Gulston. “Sixteen years on, we’re still pushing boundaries, creating unforgettable moments and bringing people together through music.”
With more than 20,000 people expected to attend, organisers are promising a full experience complete with food trucks, immersive activations, surprise collaborations, art installations and plenty of moments worthy of your Instagram story. So grab your crew, charge your phone, practise your “one more song” negotiation skills and prepare yourself. Because if this lineup is anything to go by, Spring Fiesta 2026 is not coming to play.
