Three cities, nostalgic slow jams and the songs that know a little too much about our love lives. Old School R&B Brunch is bringing the soundtrack of a generation back to South Africa.
There are songs you listen to, and then there are songs that know your business. You know the ones: the heartbreak anthems that carried you through a breakup, the slow jams that sound better after two failed talking stages, and the classics that turn an ordinary gathering into a full-blown sing-along.
Mzansi, prepare to revisit your feelings. The internationally loved Old School R&B Brunch (OSRNB) is returning to South Africa with its global tour, Heartbreak to High Notes, bringing the magic of 1990s and early 2000s R&B to Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town from 24 October to 1 November 2026.
And darling, this is not your average brunch. We are talking nostalgic music, charismatic DJs, interactive games, live hosting, food and a dance floor filled with people who may or may not still be singing about their exes.
No judgement here. Healing takes time. Sometimes, it takes a really good chorus.

A Little Nostalgia, A Lot of Soul
Founded in London in 2019 by three friends, OSRNB was created for mature audiences who share a genuine love for old-school R&B. It has since grown into a global entertainment experience reaching more than 120,000 guests across over 45 cities in more than 15 countries.
Its Heartbreak to High Notes theme celebrates the music that shaped a generation, from emotional ballads to dance-floor favourites. The concept is simple: bring people together through music and let the crowd become part of the show.
Because nothing brings strangers together quite like collectively knowing every word to a song about someone who absolutely did not deserve that much emotional investment.
Three Cities, One Unforgettable Soundtrack
Durban kicks things off on Saturday, 24 October, at The Villa in Point, from 15:00 to 21:00. Johannesburg follows on Sunday, 25 October, at Maracanà in Sandton, from 17:00 to 23:00. The tour concludes in Cape Town on Sunday, 1 November, at Cabo Beach in the V&A Waterfront, from 15:00 to 21:00.
Tickets are available online for all three events:

All events are strictly for guests aged 21 and older. Ticket options and food arrangements differ by city, so check the booking details before purchasing.
The Final Note
Old School R&B Brunch is a reminder that music can transport us back to different versions of ourselves. Whether you’re happily coupled up, single and thriving, or still recovering from a relationship that should have come with a warning label, there’s room for you on this dance floor.
So gather your friends, dress up and prepare those vocal cords. Your ex may have taken your peace, but they cannot take your favourite R&B playlist.
